You might have heard that Icelandic wool can feel itchy and honestly, that’s true. Even we Icelanders feel it too. We’re not immune to it.

But there’s a reason we still wear it, over and over again.

This wool is as natural as it gets. It hasn’t been heavily processed or softened in a factory, which is part of what makes it so special. And over time, it actually becomes softer with wear.

More importantly, it really works. It keeps you warm, handles light rain, and protects you from cold, harsh weather. It’s made for real conditions, whether that’s hiking, camping, or just traveling somewhere cold.

If you’re unsure because of the itchiness, we completely understand. Our best tip is to wear a soft long sleeve underneath. That’s how we usually wear it, more like an outer layer rather than directly on the skin.

It’s simply the Icelandic way. And if you give it a chance, you might understand why we love it so much.

Yes you can wash them on a gentle wool program at maximum 30C. Don't wring and let dry flat.
